To clear extra rush of passengers during Holi Festival, Central Railway will run 8 weekly special trains on special charges between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Barauni. The details are as given below:
05540/05539 – LTT – Barauni – LTT – Weekly special
Train No. 05540 Weekly Special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 14.20 hrs on every Thursday from 8.03.2018 to 29.03.2018 (4 trips) and will reach Barauni at 02.30 hrs third day.
Train No. 05539 Special will leave Barauni at 17.15 hrs on every Tuesday from 06.03.2018 & 27.03.2018 (4 trips) and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 04.10 hrs third day.
Halts:Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nasik Road, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Cheoki, Varanasi, Ghazipur City, Ballia, Chhapra, Sonpur, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, and Samastipur.
Composition:2 AC 3 Tier, 10 Sleeper Class & 8 General Second class.
Reservation: Booking for Holi special trains on special charges for train no. 05540 leaving LTT will commence from 16/02/2018 at all PRS centers and on website www.irctc.co.in.
General second class coaches of all the Holi Specials will run as unreserved coaches and will be booked through UTS system with normal charges for unreserved accommodation as applicable for superfast Mail/Express trains.
