Western Railway will run 2 trips of fully reserved Special train for Velankanni Festival between Bandra Terminus and Velankanni.
Velankanni Festival special trains between Bandra (T) – Velankanni
For the convenience of passengers on the occasion of Velankanni Festival, Western Railway will run 2 trips of fully reserved Special train, for which the fares chargeable will be inclusive of special charges.
Train No. 09001 Bandra (T) – Velankanni Special train will leave Bandra Terminus on 27th August, 2016 (Saturday) at 22.50 hrs and will reach Velankanni on 29th August, 2016 (Monday) at 12.30 hrs.
Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09002 Velankanni – Bandra (T) Special train will leave Velankanni at 21.45 hrs on 29th August, 2016 (Monday) and will arrive Bandra Terminus at 10.40 hrs on 31st August, 2016 (Wednesday).
This train will halt at Borivali, Vasai Road, Kalyan, Lonavala, Pune, Daund, Solapur, Wadi, Yadgir, Raichur, Mantralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal, Gooty, Tadipatri, Muddanuru, Yerraguntla, Cudapah, Razampeta, Koduru, Renigunta, Tiruttani, Arakkonam, Kanchipuram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Tirupadaripulliyur, Chidambaram, Sirkazhi, Mayiladuthurai, Tiruvarur Jn. and Nagapattinam stations in the onward journey. However, on its return journey, the train will halt at all the above mentioned stations except Daund station.
The train will comprise of AC II – tier, AC III – tier, Sleeper class and II Seating Reserved Coaches.
The booking for Train No. 09001 will open on 8th August, 2016 at all PRS counters and IRCTC website.
