Fortress Check at Hi-tech City Station on Secunderabad Division to curb unauthorised travel
As part of continuous Ticket Checking drives, Secunderabad Division of South Central Railway conducted a Fortress Check at Hi-tech City Railway stations on 19th January, 2016 to curb ticketless/irregular travel and act as a deterrent to commuters travelling unauthorised on various trains.
The fortress check involved around 25 Ticket Checking staff along with Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel of Secunderabad Division to check ticketless and irregular travel by various trains. All the MMTS trains were thoroughly checked at this station.
A total of 128 cases, comprising of 119 persons travelling without ticket, and 9 cases of un-booked luggage were detected. An amount of Rs. 32, 430/- was realised towards penalty and fare during these Fortress Check.
