Western Raiway – DISHA, an acronym for “Digital Interface of Stations for Help and Amenities” is now upgraded with new features and new upgraded version of this user’s friendly Mobile App has been launched from 1st June,2017.
In upgraded version, Suburban timetable in searchable format is now available for users. Commuters can get list of trains available for your desired direction after selecting their boarding station through this App. Also user will get info updates relayed by railways in form of push notifications.
Updates such as special trains, blocks, major delays etc will be sent through notifications.
This novel concept was inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister for Railways – Shri Suresh Prabhu on 5thFebruary, 2017. This application is hosted on Google Play store for download. The app also enables dialing of important railway helpline numbers like 138, 139 & 182 and has also links for PNR Enquiry, UTS, suggestions and feedback etc. 2000 commuters have already downloaded it till now. These features make this app very useful for WR commuters.
The DISHA App provides information on mobile phone about passenger amenities and station assistance available at various stations of Mumbai Division. Details about approaches like FOB, Escalators, Food & Tea Stalls, Medical assistance, Toilets, Vehicle parking areas, ATMs etc. can be accessed by passengers and general public alike through this app.
